About Us

Learn more about the World Data Lab partnership and how the Africa Youth Employment Clock was created.

The World Data Lab, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, have developed the Africa Youth Employment Clock, a first-of-its-kind tool to monitor youth job growth and forecast youth employment trends until 2030.

In line with Mastercard Foundation’s mission to enable 30 million young people in Africa to secure dignified and fulfilling work by 2030, the Clock is intended to democratize data, and inform decision-making in the public and private domains.
